Markets moved to price the Dec 2024 FFR to 4.495% (84.75 bps of Rate cut from peak terminal rate of 5.3425%).
For India the liquidity deficit widened to 173K on GST tax payments with WACR at 6.79%. Oct 2024 Forwards are a tad bit lower at 1.59% (1 bps lower) and 1Y OIS is trading at 6.90% (1 bps) lower.
Broadly, after the sharp move lower in USD index, I am leaning towards buy USD on dips and have a preference for selling EURUSD on upticks with stops above 1.1050 but I'd like to scale into this positions gradually as I gather more evidence of signs of intermittent reversal.
